Gravel Rally Black Forest 2024 – An Epic Offroad Gravel Bike Adventure 30 – 70 – 68 – 120 – 155km

The Gravel Rally Black Forest is the ultimate Gravel Rally Series in the beautiful Black Forest. This event offers a cycling festival and a weekend of fun for all off-road fans, whether you are a mountainbiker, cyclocrosser or gravel rider. It's not just about the beautiful routes through the German low mountain range, but also about the communal experience. This off-road experience covers no less than 80% of the total ride. You will discover the Black Forest from a new perspective and cross unknown places such as the enchanting Blasiwald, the mysterious Muchenland and the fascinating raised bog of Bernau. In short, there is a lot to explore.

Gravel ride variations

Choose from three beautiful gravelrit variations: Rally Blue Trout (approx. 70 km), Rally Red Fox (approx. 68 km) and Black Snake Rally (approx. 120 km). On Saturday there are additional options such as a warm-up ride of 30 km and a long distance ride of 155 km. Participants can choose excitement, nature, freedom and a sporting challenge in a self-driving format.

Drive Independently

The event is not based on a mass start; instead, participants start in small groups of 10, adding a sense of freedom and adventure. There is sufficient support and supplies available during the ride.

Entertainment

At the finish you can enjoy tarte flambée and local craft beer from partner Fürstenberg. On Saturday there is a festive program with tarte flambée from the Black Forest and in the evening a BBQ with live vinyl music.

Gravel ride participants maximum

This amazing adventure welcomes a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 450 participants.

Driving Requirements

Participation requires at least one gravel or cyclo cross bike, maar mountainbikes zijn ook toegestaan.

Tires & Gear Ratio

Tires of at least 35 mm width and specific gear ratios are recommended to ensure a smooth ride.

Supplies

Provide rain protection, an air pump, inner tubes, a repair kit, a chain lock, an aluminum blanket, a power bank and a smartphone or GPX navigation.
