The PlugPlug Fest 2024 offers a unique gravel 2-day tour through the breathtaking Eifel and High Fens. Two days full of challenge, nature, and fun, including camping, delicious meals, and a perfectly organized experience.

Date 2024:

• Weekend 1: 13/6 – 14/6 (Thursday-Friday)
• Weekend 2: 15/6 – 16/6 (Saturday-Sunday)

What is the PlugPlug Fest?

For lovers of sporting challenges and explorations through unspoilt nature. Participants enjoy a carefree two-day trip: gravelen through the Eifel, camping in Möderscheid, and back to Eupen via the beautiful High Fens. An all-in concept where the organization arranges everything, including accommodation, meals, routes, and atmosphere.

Level PlugPlug Eifel/High Fens:

Suitable for all levels, however some cycling experience is recommended. Difficult slopes and technical descents are part of the gravel tour. Short and long distances available on both days.

Material:

Participation possible with gravelbike, MTB or eBike. Bicycle technicians on site for minor repairs. Roadside assistance during the journey. Participants provide their own materials in case of minor problems.

Safety:

No signalers during the rides. The highway code always applies. PlugPlug Fest is not a competition, but participants are free to choose their pace. Extra third-party liability insurance for all participants.

Start and finish:

Departure in the morning near Eupen. Arrival in Möderscheid with good food and après- gravelbike. The next day back to Eupen via a different route.

Residence location:

Exclusive camping in Möderscheid, South of the High Fens. Quality domain with modern sanitary facilities. Participants provide their own tent and sleeping gear, or pay a small surcharge for transportation by the organization.

Rides and GPS:

Choice between short and long routes on both days. Routes designed by course builder Nick Schuermans, known for his beautiful and challenging routes.

What is included?

• Day 1: Coffee, pastry, briefing, luggage transport (surcharge possible), supplies, afternoon snack, bike wash, BBQ (drinks excl.).
• Day 2: Rich breakfast, luggage transport, supplies, afternoon snack.
