On Sunday, March 10, 2024, the Course Builders will present the PlugPlug Groote Heide, a beautiful gravel tour through the breathtaking nature northeast of Hamont-Achel.

Gravel routes through Nature Paradise

Choose between 90 km and 130 km routes through the Groote Heide, with flat landscapes, limited elevation gain, and gravel roads that reveal the gravel paradise.

• Starting location: Achelse Kluis
• Starting hours: Between 8am and 10am
• Ticket price: €19 (excl. small service charge)

What is included?

Enjoy high-quality routes, Café Copain coffee at the start, ample supplies, insurance, technical support, bike wash, breakdown service, and après bike atmosphere.

Choice of Two Distances

• Short Distance (90 km): Explore the Groote Heide with one supply.
• Long Distance (130 km): Add an extra loop of crackling gravel and pass two supplies.

In collaboration with Abdij de Achelse Kluis, PlugPlug Groote Heide offers a start and finish in the shadow of this beautiful abbey. After the ride, enjoy a snack in the brasserie and local beers.
