On Saturday, July 6, 2024, Cycling Team Toeristiek vzw will bring the Waffle Ride gravel tour to Beernem. Enjoy beautiful gravel routes, live podcast recordings, and an afterparty with the Tour de France '24 on the big screen.

Routes and Event Square Gravelride

• Date Time: Saturday July 6, 2024, starts at 7am.
• Location: Event Square OC De Kleine Beer, C. Marichalstraat 5, 8730 Beernem.
• Distances: Choose from 55 km, 110 km, or 165 km gravel routes.
• Gravel Village: Start, supplies, finish, live podcast, and afterparty.

Tickets Included: 

Tickets: Including coffee & croissant, starter pack, extensive supplies, 'Belgian Waffle' @finish, carefully mapped routes via GPX, Tour de France '24 on a big screen, afterparty with beer, and treats from 'The Bread Barn'.

Gravel routes and regional description

Explore Beernem and the surrounding area on Saturday, July 6, 2024 with Waffle Ride. Choose from 55 km, 110 km, or the full 165 km with three different loops, each through beautiful nature reserves and quiet country roads.

Event Square and Experience

The Event Square will be transformed into a Gravel Village with coffee, croissants, live podcast recordings, a video wall for the Tour de France, and an afterparty. After each 55 km loop you return to the gravel village for resupply and continue your adventure.

Tickets and Practical Guidelines

• Starting times: Different for 165 km (7am-9am), 110 km (7am-11am), and 55 km (7am-1:30pm).
• Tickets: 100 Early Bird tickets available from January 10, 2024 at 8 PM.
• Inclusive: Coffee & croissant, starter pack, supplies, 'Belgian Waffle', mapped routes via GPX, and Tour de France '24 on a big screen.

Guidelines and Experience

Respect the highway code and other participants. Wear a bicycle helmet, have insurance, and make the event waste-free. Enjoy the gravela adventure and discover the beautiful region of West Flanders.
