Usage advice for Wcup Sports Drink with Agrum flavor:
Suitable for before, during and after The effort.
Adjust intake according to intensity, no more than 70g carbohydrates/hour.
It is recommended to drink at least 500ml of sports drink per hour during sporting activity. At warmer temperatures or during intensive efforts 750 – 1l per hour.
In (very) hot weather it is advisable to alternate this isotonic sports drink with Wcup ORS Sports Drink. This isotonic sports drink contains more salt. This salt replenishes the salt you lose during sweating.
If you anticipate a very heavy sporting effort or a competition, it may also be important to plan a few days in advance Wcup Carbomax + Peptopro drink to be consumed for a Carbo load.
Intake advice for carbohydrates per hour
The advice is 1g per kg body weight. The amount of carbohydrates intake can also vary depending on the intensity and total duration of the effort.
- For efforts lasting less than 1 hour, no additional intake of isotonic sports drinks is necessary
- Efforts from 1h to 2.5h 30 to 60 grams per hour
- Longer efforts of 2.5 hours or longer: 60 to 90 grams per hour
Combine sports drink with energy Bars , energy gels or gummies to obtain this carbohydrate amount.
