The Red Rock Challenge 2023 starts in Belval and, as every year, connects the main tourist points in the region, such as Little Italy in Dudelange, the National Mining and Iron Museum in Rumelange, the Ellergronn Information Center in Esch/Alzette and the Industrial and Railway Park Fond-de-Gras in Differdange/Pétange. These locations act as stops and service points along the route.

The different routes take participants through nature reserves such as Haard, Hesselbierg, Steebierg, Lalléngerbierg and Giele Botter, and converge at the Lycée Belval, where a festive gathering awaits at the end of the competitions.

There is also musical entertainment, food and drinks, a cloakroom, hot showers and bike wash (depending on the race you participate in).
