New challenges at 40th finish:
The peloton climbs the for the first time Chemin des Chapelles four times, a first at the Mur de Huy. Women start in the afternoon, with a more extensive 143.5 km route.

Jaarlijks brengen de wegen van de Provincie Luik het Ardense wielergevoel tot leven, apotheose in de 88e editie van La Flèche Wallonne op 17 april 2024. Het compacte 31,6 km-circuit belooft spektakel met de Côte d’Ereffe en de beruchte Mur de Huy die vier keer beklommen worden tijdens deze spring classic.
Race and Tradition:
The Ardennes classic trio, started in 1936, is once again lighting up Huy and Liège. The 40th finish on the Mur de Huy marks a milestone. The winner, successor to Tadej Pogačar, will cross the finish line around 4:30 PM after 199.1 km from Charleroi.
Women on the Mur:
Immediately after the men, the women take on the challenge on the Wall. The 28th edition of La Flèche Wallonne Femmes starts at 2 p.m., with new climbs in Gives, Courrière and Évrehailles. A wild reception is expected around 6 p.m. at the Grand-Place in Huy after an extended race of 143.5 km.

The 2023 edition saw Tadej Pogačar triumph after a thrilling battle over 194.2km.
