Have you always wanted to ride that great cycling classic? Or are you looking forward to achieving your own cycling goals or getting to know other cycling enthusiasts? Season opener of the Proximus Cycling Challenge
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Ename Classic marks the start of a new season of the Proximus Cycling Challenge. A beautiful season opener that challenges cycling enthusiasts with routes through the most beautiful regions of Belgium.
The Perfect Tour for Cycling Lovers
With unknown but challenging climbs, smooth intermediate sections and breathtaking landscapes, the Ename Classic is an ideal test for the trained and an awakening moment for those coming out of their (cycling) hibernation.
Routes and Altimeters
Four beautiful routes of 65 km, 90 km, 120 km or 150 km start and end in Oudenaarde, a city with a rich cycling history. Brewery Roman treats every participant to a free bottle of Ename abbey beer at the finish.
Explore the Flemish Ardennes
The tours take you through the beautiful Flemish Ardennes with challenging slopes such as Boembeek, Armekleie and Elverenberg. Participants in the longer distances also explore Zottegem and the Zwalm Valley with additional slopes such as Armekleie, Kloosterbosstraat and Waesberg.

- 150 km: between 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
- 120 km: between 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM
- 90 km: between 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- 65 km: between 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
